Frutas Valente e Valente Lda would like to share with you some recipes with cream. There's something for everyone from salty to sweet and, we guarantee, they are delicious.
Spaghetti with cream and broccoli
2 garlic cloves
Dash of olive oil
250g of spaghetti
3 tablespoons of cream
1.5 bunch of broccoli
Salt and pepper
Cook the broccoli in boiling water for just over a minute. To stop the cooking process and keep the color and crunchy texture, shock the broccoli by placing it in ice water. This process is called blanching and is great for preparing vegetables to be frozen.
In a hot frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil, place two crushed garlic cloves and the pre-cooked broccoli. Sauté a little and add three tablespoons of fresh cream.
Season with salt and pepper and leave in the pan for a few minutes and the sauce will be ready. Now just cook your spaghetti and serve with the sauce.
Yogurt and cream with blackberries / raspberries / strawberries
0.5 cup sugar (for fruit)
1 cup of cream
1.5 cup plain yogurt
2 tablespoons of sugar (for the cream)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
First place the frozen blackberries in a bowl and mix with the sugar. Leave it reserved, stirring and kneading the fruits every once in a while. When it is completely melted, beat with an electric mixer, roughly, making a very red smooth jam.
In a bowl place a cup of cream, a cup and a half of yogurt, two tablespoons of sugar and a spoonful of vanilla extract. Beat with an electric mixer until the cream is thick, like whipped cream.
In a bowl place the fruit cream on the bottom and the yogurt cream on top of that. Leave in the refrigerator until serving.
